Missions:
To support Livestorm’s mission and steady growth, we are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to deliver and scale technical services for our customers—especially around CRM integrations, API-based workflows, and custom implementations.
This role is about being at the forefront of client-facing technical excellence—guiding customers through complex setups and building value-driven solutions that extend far beyond our existing features. You’ll oversee and contribute to three major types of solution work:
Advanced CRM integration workflows – helping customers configure powerful, flexible automations across our native and third-party integrations, with particular depth on Salesforce, Pardot/Account Engagement, and HubSpot.
Custom solutions built with our API, webhooks, and code – enabling customers to do more by combining Livestorm with automation platforms (Make, Zapier, n8n) and by writing real code when low-code tools aren’t enough — including full custom applications with a UI, built and shipped end-to-end.
Cross-team enablement and partner ecosystem – sharing technical knowledge with Sales, CSMs, and Support teams, and contributing to our integration partner network.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Solution design & delivery [35%]
Lead the technical delivery of integration-based and custom solutions, using Livestorm’s API, webhooks, and scripting (Python, JavaScript) for use cases that go beyond what automation platforms can handle.
Design, build, test, deploy, and document custom applications with a user-facing UI backed by our API — owning the full delivery lifecycle from scoping to handoff, using modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code and similar) to move fast without cutting corners on quality.
Debug and investigate integration failures hands-on: reading API error responses, analyzing sync logs, identifying root causes in CRM configurations (field validation rules, permission sets, campaign member statuses, connected campaigns, Business Unit mappings, etc.).
Design and advise on CRM data flows across Salesforce, Pardot/Account Engagement, and HubSpot — including edge cases like multi-workspace setups, sandbox-to-production migrations, retroactive syncs, and cross-CRM configurations.
Use low-code and AI-assisted tools (Make, n8n, Zapier, and modern AI-powered builders) to prototype and deliver solutions efficiently, while knowing when a scripted or fully custom approach is the right call.
Coordinate with engineering on more complex development needs and ensure alignment with our product vision.
Client-facing consulting and communication [30%]
Act as a trusted technical consultant in both pre-sales and post-sales conversations.
Play a key evangelist role for our integrations and API — demoing advanced use cases, advising on CRM configurations and extended automations, and helping Sales teams craft compelling solution proposals.
Explain complex integration behaviors clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Cross-team enablement [20%]
Equip customer-facing teams (AE, AM, CSM, Support) with documentation, training, and resources so they can better understand and pitch technical capabilities.
Build and maintain reusable scripts, custom apps, and playbooks — the kind of assets that make the whole team faster over time.
Proactively identify gaps in knowledge or tooling and drive initiatives to fill them.
Process improvement and scaling [15%]
Continuously refine how we scope, deliver, and document custom solutions.
Lead internal knowledge sharing efforts to make solutions repeatable and impactful across multiple clients.
Job requirements/Who You Are…
You have solid engineering fundamentals. You’re comfortable writing and maintaining scripts in Python or JavaScript, reading API documentation, and debugging JSON payloads and HTTP error responses. You don’t need to be a full-stack engineer, but you’re not relying on AI to write code you can’t read — you can review it, own it, and maintain it over time.
You build real things, end-to-end. You’ve shipped custom applications with a user-facing UI, handled testing and deployment, and written the documentation that goes with it. You’re comfortable using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to move fast, but you set the architecture and you own the output.
You have deep, hands-on knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot/Account Engagement, and HubSpot. You understand how Salesforce Campaigns, Campaign Members, Lead and Contact objects, Connected Campaigns, and Marketing App Extensions work — not just at a surface level, but well enough to diagnose sync failures, permission issues, and multi-BU edge cases. You’re equally at ease in HubSpot: Marketing Events, workflows, contact properties, and the nuances of the v3 integration. You can operate across all three platforms without needing to be coached on the basics.
You understand marketing automation workflows. You know how demand gen teams use their CRM stack: lead scoring, campaign attribution, registration flows, nurture triggers. You can speak the language of a marketing ops person as fluently as a developer’s.
You’re at ease with webhooks, API integrations, and middleware platforms. You’ve worked with platforms like Make, n8n, or Zapier, and you understand how to chain events, handle errors, and debug flows end-to-end. You know when to use them and when to write something from scratch.
You’ve worked in a client-facing or consulting role. Your communication and interpersonal skills are strong, and you’re attuned to both technical and business needs. You know how to manage expectations on a complex integration project.
You’re a doer with a proactive mindset. You take ownership, drive initiatives forward, and can operate independently in an ambiguous environment.
You’re fluent in both French and English, and comfortable working in a fully remote setup aligned with the Paris time zone ±2 hours.
Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we’ll let you in on a secret: there’s no such thing as a ‘perfect’ candidate. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.
