Your Ownership ? 💪

You will join the Tech team composed of 20 talented Full Stack developers, divided into different squads (1 PM + 4/6 developers) based on the B2B products we offer: Business Account, cards, accelerated payouts, pay later supplier, and credit wire transfers. Under the supervision of Adam –our Head of Engineering–, you will take on the ambitious challenge of helping bring Hero’s technology at scale.

To make it a real success, your missions will be to :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications, with a particular focus on improving the onboarding funnel for end-users — a key and evolving feature that serves as both a UX driver and a foundation for broader product initiatives.

• Take ownership of the frontend, ensuring alignment with best practices and leading the adoption of Next.js across all frontend projects. You’ll help drive the migration of legacy frontends to this new stack, and be a reference point for enforcing consistency and code quality across squads.

• Collaborate with product and development experts to design and implement features.

• Participate in writing technical specifications and developing architectural plans to ensure efficient and high-quality implementation.

• Ensure code quality by performing unit and integration tests and implementing good development practices.

• Optimize application performance and resolve scalability issues.

• Work closely with DevOps specialists to ensure efficient deployment and management of the application.

• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.

Your  Profile  ?  🦸

• Background in Software Engineering, You have at least 5 years of experience in web development with Node.js and Next.js/React.

• Technical skills, you have an in-depth knowledge of, PostgreSQL, GraphQL and you also master the components of a robust and clean architecture / hexagonal architecture.

• Conscientious and rigorous to code quality and user experience, you know that the devil is in the details

• Team player, you enjoy working with your colleagues

• Entrepreneurial mindset : you are comfortable both with starting from a blank page, and maintaining existing code. You are pragmatic, not dogmatic.

• Problem solver : you adapt easily to fast-track and high-growth environment

• Speaking French and English fluently is mandatory

Nice to have : *
