Context : As part of the management and optimization of critical production IT infrastructures, we are looking for a specialist in Linux and SAP Basis. The mission involves maintaining operational conditions (MOC) for SAP infrastructures and applications, ensuring their availability and performance. Knowledge transfer to internal teams is also a key component of this role. The service will commence in February 2025 and involves Linux Systems Engineering and SAP Basis expertise for Production IT Infrastructures. This includes maintaining operational conditions (MCO) and ensuring the availability of SAP infrastructures and applications by:
Providing Level 2 and Level 3 support.
Performing technical incident analysis.
Supporting business functions.
Assessing risks and change impacts.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Administering application servers.
Producing technical documentation
Production Environment:
Critical Systems: Incident handling for permanent environments must comply with SLAs (RTO = 4 hours, 24/7 availability). The organization must be capable of meeting this commitment (e.g., on-call duty).
Production Scope:
13 production Content Servers associated with SAP (multi-company).
Approximately 100 incidents and 100 changes per year.
For Lot 1 (business hours activities) and based on internal team ramp-up plan, knowledge transfer to new team members is required.
Required Technical Expertise:
To successfully carry out this mission, client requires expertise in the following areas:
Incident Management (Level 2 and Level 3): From system layers to SAP Basis, including databases.
Linux and SAP Infrastructure Maintenance: Ensuring optimal performance and operation.
Run Phase Integration Expertise: OS upgrades and patching (RedHat, SAP).
Deployment and Operations: Implementation of new systems and associated services.
Technical Documentation: Incident and change capitalization.
SAP BASIS Administration: Proficiency in ECC, S/4HANA, BW.
Database Administration: Expertise in HANA, Oracle, Sybase, MAXDB.
SAP Technical Projects: Experience with upgrades, service packs, and migrations.

Patch Application: Including SAP Notes, support packages, kernel, host agent, diagnostic agent, and database patching.

The provider must deliver measurable, tangible, or verifiable outputs, including:
Incident and Change Details: Adding information to tickets (diagnosis, resolution steps, screenshots, etc.).
Technical Documentation: Adhering to standards.
Reports: Regular activity tracking and example documents of the approach (weekly activity reports with commentary in the presence).
Ad Hoc Reports: Based on specific requests (e.g., complex diagnostic scenarios, audits of technical infrastructure).
Required Skills:
Expertise in Linux systems (RedHat, CentOS, etc.) and critical infrastructures.
Advanced skills in SAP Basis administration (ECC, S/4HANA, Content Server, CRM, BW, BO, SLT, ADS).
Strong database management experience (HANA, Oracle, Sybase, MAXDB).
Proven experience in incident and change management in production environments.
Ability to create technical documentation and communicate effectively in French and English (minimum B2 level)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud infrastructures (IaaS, PaaS).
Familiarity with critical SAP technical environments with demanding SLAs (RTO = 4 hours).
Capacity to train and support internal teams.
Experience with SAP technical projects (migrations, upgrades).
Mastery and Expertise: Experience in Linux systems with high technical criticality and technical expertise in infrastructure domains (Redhat, CentOS, Satellite, Unix, SAP, etc.).
System and Technical Audits.
Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Proficiency in private or public Cloud (IaaS, PaaS).
Deployment Expertise: Experience with production deployments.
Level 3 Support (N3).
